Mike Byrnes is an accomplished finger-style guitarist with many years of playing experience. About 4 years ago Mike decided to put together a show that would showcase the talent of the musicians local to the area. Mike spoke to the local Cablevision Company to find out what was necessary to produce a show on the local cable access channel. After taking a short course, The "Guitar Show" was born. It started out with just Mike himself but he soon found out that he could only fill up but so many shows. At that point Mike reached out to the local musician scene and recruited some player friends of his to come on the show as guests. The show soon began to snowball and Mike began attracting some Big Name Artists. Mike has recorded over 200 shows and has a potential viewing audience of 4,000,000 people in 3 states.
